Okay, so as most of you know, I am not a personal trainer (not even close, though that would be cool). But, I’ve needed one and have always wanted one (thanks, Hillary!). I struggle with maintaining motivation throughout the year (ahem, day/week/month). Maybe you can relate?

Like I’ve said on snapchat (ashleylsnyder), I’m okay with the healthy eating part (most of the time), but the workout and active lifestyle, I’m not so good at. I’m hoping this can be a positive community where we come together and just do our best. Please, don’t go ALL OUT and get burnt out. Take your time, learn to enjoy the journey. Find something enjoyable within each workout. Let’s make this a lifestyle, friends. And, don’t forget Who you are serving!

Romans 12:1 says:

“I urge you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, and acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service of worship.”

Notice that the Holy Spirit, speaking through the apostle Paul, tells us to give not just our spirits, not only our souls, but our bodies to God. When we place these things in His hands, he will give us the strength and motivation we need to keep moving forward.

“Therefore, whether you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do it all to the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31
