It will feature a weekly workout and meal plan created by Personal Trainer, Hillary Dickey! I have my bachelors and masters degree in Exercise Science. I am very excited to start my Doctorate program in Exercise Physiology this Fall at the University of Oklahoma. Once I graduate with my PhD I hope to teach in a university and coach track and field. I have worked as a personal trainer for 2 years but have always been interested in exercise metabolism and physiology of the human body, as I have always been active with sports.

One thing that a lot of people know, but don’t take to heart is the fact that diet is about 80% and exercise is about 20% of your health—
You can’t out-work a bad diet!
As far as those with a busy schedule, needing an efficient and quick workout, HIIT (high intensity interval training) is the best way to go! You can incorporate cardio, strength and endurance into one workout, giving you the most bang for your buck in a short time! HIIT is basically short bouts of exercise with little rest, keeping your heart rate elevated throughout the entire workout. This will also allow for a greater calorie expenditure rather than jogging/walking at a steady rate for a certain period of time ALSO burning more calories throughout the remainder of the day!
