New York Fashion Week is a biannual series of events held by international fashion designers who pompously showcase their collections to buyers, the press and the general public.
The 2014 spring show was nothing short of stunning. The presentation was the perfect freedom to explore the optimistic side of fashion by bringing a myriad of vibrant, electric pieces to the spotlight. The passion was to bring upbeat accents and explore interesting cultural influences, which would reflect through refreshing stylistic perspectives that unveiled a rather unexpected, but fabulous side of the labels’ aesthetics.
I mean can we talk about that audacious Karen Walker pattern? And, how could you resist the brilliant practicality of the whole Tommy Hilfiger line? Oh and don’t even get me started on the colorful masculinity of Kate Spade – Yes, please!
