I’m so excited to be planning my first business/play trip to Los Angeles with my Dad next week! What to see? What to do? And, of course…what to wear?
I’m starting to realize (especially after I just looked up the weather) that I’m going to be opting out of the traditional Midwest sweater, and more into short sleeves, and possibly even shorts. Maybe a scarf here and there because I’ve still got to go with the season, right? But, holy cow, 75 degreeeeees? I don’t hate that!
I think this look would be perfect for walking around Sunset Blvd, munching on some grub here, and shopping here and here. Or, perhaps, just spending the whole day at The Getty. It would also be really cute paired with these torn Madewell boyfriend shorts and these (or these!) comfortable flats, too.
I love how versatile each piece is. You could literally pair each individual item with anything and everything. Mix and match to your heart’s content!
…You know your outfit is good when it’s constructed with pure staple pieces.
What do you think? Scarf, or necklace or neither?
Is this something you would wear or do you like less neutrals, more color?
Oh! And please, please, send me LA recommendations. I want to hit all the good spots.
Happy Thursday!

Thanks, Momma! Needed to hear that today! 🙂 And, yeah, she’s stinking awesome!
I love that scarf!! The red lines pop and are exactly what’s needed to make a neutral outfit shine. Great photos! And always beautiful smile 🙂
